By visiting our website and / or purchasing a product from us, you engage in our 'service' and agree to be bound by the following conditions, Terms of use, including any additional terms, conditions and policies referenced herein. These Terms Of Service apply to all site users. Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of our website you agree to be bound to these terms.
When booking an activity with Portrush Surf School, full payment is taken in advance by Portrush Surf School.
On booking a contract is made between Portrush Surf School and the clients verbally. In the case of a last minute booking we cannot email confirmation but a verbal agreement is in place.
An enrolment form must be completed prior to the activity with Portrush Surf School.
Portrush Surf School does not accept any liability caused through failure to complete the participation form.
Responsibility lies with the group leader, guardian, parent or the individual themselves.
Portrush Surf School requires 100% payment of the activity cost prior to the activity date and Portrush Surf School have the right to cancel a persons place if full payment is not received.
Any cancellations or amendments to your booking must be made in writing and will only be accepted from the date they are received by Portrush Surf School.
Refunds and cancellations work as follows:
Full amount payable upon booking.
IF YOU CANCEL
4 weeks or more from date of activity: Full refund
4 weeks or less from date: No refund
As we run at capacity we are unable to offer refunds outside of these terms.
These terms are applicable for all online bookings, transfer of funds for private or group events, and voucher bookings.
IF WE CANCEL
If we cancel your session due to unsuitable weather, you will be presented with the opportunity to reschedule your lesson. If no immediate reschedule is available or suitable, you will be issued a credit note for the value of your booking valid for 12 months from lesson date.
Covid-19:
IF WE CANCEL
If we are unable to run the session due to Covid-19 government restrictions, we will offer you a credit note to use which will be valid for 1 year, or a refund of booking paid.
IF YOU CANCEL
If you cancel your booking due to implications of Covid-19, you will be subject to the same terms & conditions as listed above re. refunds and cancellations.
Portrush Surf School accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss, damage or third party claims which occur through no fault of their own or Portrush Surf School Instructors and cannot accept responsibility for any of the reasons above unless Portrush Surf School can be proven negligent.
I accept that I participate in activities with Portrush Surf School at my own risk and have filled in an enrolment form. I declare that I have made Portrush Surf School aware of any medical conditions I may suffer from ( ie, Asthma, Epilepsy etc ) or any other special needs that may affect mine or others peoples safety whilst under the time scales of Portrush Surf School.
I am not permitted to consume alcohol or drugs prior or during my activity with Portrush Surf School.
Anyone found under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused the right to participate in any activity by Portrush Surf School management or Instructors.
The prices shown are correct at the time of publication of this website. Portrush Surf School reserves the right to change any prices or times. Any changes in costs will be made clear to the client at the time of booking.
Portrush Surf School reserve the right to cancel any session prior or during as weather or sea conditions etc. may dictate.
Your personal information will not be shared with any third parties.
The information you give Portrush Surf School when booking and on personal enrolment forms will be kept securely on record by Portrush Surf School and you agree to receive email communication regarding offers and details from Portrush Surf School.
Any accommodation, restaurants or other suppliers listed on this website act only as a guide and Portrush Surf School accept no responsibility for loss, damage, cancellations or negligence by the these parties.
Complaints concerning Portrush Surf School should be sent within 7 days by email to info@portrushsurfschool.com
Meeting Point is Portrush Yacht Club.
If a client arrives after the stated time Portrush Surf School reserve the right to start the session without this individual or group without issuing a refund. Though in this case we always try hard to accommodate clients in extenuating circumstances, (ie. traffic issues, parking issues )
Although it is the responsibility of the client to arrive early and meet the times scales agreed on booking.
Portrush Surf School and Portrush Yacht Club accept no responsibility for loss or damage during time scales set out and agreed by Portrush Surf School.
No responsibility shall be taken by either Portrush Surf School or Portrush Yacht Club for any incident inside or outside of Portrush Yacht Club during these times. ( ie ) Slips, Trips, Falls.
Responsibility lies solely with the client, individual, guardian, group leader.
