Martin "TK" Kelly has been riding the waves of Portrush and the World at the highest level for almost 30 years. Surfing has been his life since he was a young boy. From a Bodyboard to Surf Board, Body Surf to SUP, TK has honed his skills over a long career as a Professional Bodyboarder and is regarded as one of the leading water men in the country.

TK has travelled the globe for most of his years surfing. From representing Ireland on Euro and World Stage to Surfing some of the worlds most revered waves.
Surfing and competing is still a huge part of TKs life and this goes hand in hand with his passion for teaching people how to have fun and utilise the ocean.
Hector Laverty
Instructor
Hector was born and bred in Portrush and has been surfing since he was a toddler. Hector is easily spotted in the water with his flowing style on every wave showing off his wave knowledge and connection with the ocean.
Hands down the smoothest coach in The North, Hector is an ISA Level 1 Surf Coach as well as an ASI Level 2 Stand Up Paddle Instructor.
Super cool and easy to get on with Hector is a fantastic addition to an already powerful team of instructors at Portrush Surf School.
Claire
Instructor
We are stoked to have Claire working with us, a passionate and professional Level 2 Surf Coach. Claire, originally from Portrush, loves the outdoors, surfing, climbing and camping.
She has been coaching for over 6 years and is a RNLI Beach Lifeguard.
Claire has recently returned from Costa Rica where she spent the winter coaching in warmer climes. A highly trained, motivated, and integral part of the Portrush Surf School team.
Nick Kellerman
Instructor
Nick is from Sacramento, California.
He started Surfing when he was 9 years old at the world famous breaks of Santa Cruz, mostly surfing at Pleasure Point in the early years, then he began exploring the Californian coast from San Diego to Westport Washington and everywhere in between.
He has been living in Portrush for the last 6 years and is one of the coolest dudes on the North Coast.
He is a proper old school surf coach and our clients just love his way. The trade mark Californian style really comes across in his lessons, always with a big smile and big enthusiasm.
