Expect
Our VIP Kids Surf Camps have been a success for a very long time, quite simply because your little surf dudes will be total VIP’s during their time with us.
Suitable for ages 9 to 16 years old.
SUMMER HOLIDAYS
This one of a kind 4 Day Kids Camp runs Monday to Thursday every week for 8 weeks starting Monday 7th July 2025.
Each session is 2 hours long, with the choice of either;
10am-12pm or 1-3pm
(with check-in 15 minutes beforehand on the first day.)
All equipment is included as well as full tuition and professional supervision at all times.
If your children have their own wetsuits & booties it is preferable that you can bring these along to use.
Advance online booking below is recommended to avoid disappointment.
WHAT THE KIDS WILL LEARN
Over the camp, kids build real water confidence and skills, covering:
- Equipment — boards, wetsuits, and how to look after them
- Waves — how they work and how to read them
- Tides and wind — understanding conditions like a surfer
- Surfing — from first pop-ups to riding waves
- Water skills — confidence, awareness, and staying safe
All sessions are focused on fun, confidence, and safety in waist-depth water. Camps are supervised by qualified surf instructors and supported by RNLI beach lifeguards, with a maximum of 16 kids per camp session.
WHERE TO MEET
All camps meet at the Portrush Yacht Club, Portrush Harbour. Just drop off at the booked start time — check-in and kit is all handled from there.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Four-day camp — £140 per child
- Maximum of 16 kids per camp session
- Sessions may be cancelled and rescheduled if weather or water conditions are unsafe — high winds, for example. Safety comes first, and we’ll always let you know as early as possible
- Please drop off at the Portrush Yacht Club, Portrush Harbour, at the camp start time — not before. Check-in is included in the session
