Portrush Surf School is built around the simple idea that surfing should feel welcoming, exciting, and easy to get into. You learn on some of the best waves on the North Coast with local instructors who know every break from West Strand to White Rocks. The lessons focus on confidence, patience, and proper technique, which makes them ideal for beginners, families, groups, and anyone looking for something memorable to do in Portrush. Martin “TK” Kelly

HEAD COACH / OWNER

Martin “TK” Kelly has been riding the waves of Portrush and the World at the highest level for almost 30 years. Surfing has been his life since he was a young boy. From a Bodyboard to Surf Board, Body Surf to SUP, TK has honed his skills over a long career as a Professional Bodyboarder and is regarded as one of the leading water men in the country.

TK has travelled the globe for most of his years surfing. From representing Ireland on Euro and World Stage to Surfing some of the worlds most revered waves.

Surfing and competing is still a huge part of TKs life and this goes hand in hand with his passion for teaching people how to have fun and utilise the ocean.
